Design accents and storage options are often times what set high quality cabinets apart from plain builder grade cabinets.  However, your existing cabinets can be affordably upgraded to almost all design and storage options to look and feel like a custom cabinet.

Common upgrades include moldings, decorative island trim, glass doors, and new drawer boxes with soft-close glides.

We'll briefly highlight these options below.

What Are My Molding Options?

Cabinet moldings are an easy way to add height and interest to plain cabinets.  They can be added whether we are painting the cabinets or replacing the doors and refacing.

Most commonly added are crown moldings, even stacked crown can be added as pictured on this painted kitchen.  Under cabinet light rail moldings and decorative scribe moldings are also available.

We have many different sizes and styles of crown molding that match all cabinet styles.

How Can An Island Be Trimmed?

Islands and peninsulas are often wasted design space in most builder grade cabinet designs.  They offer a great opportunity to add a custom flair when painting or refacing your kitchen.

We most often have matching door panels created to be attached to the flat surfaces of the cabinet/island ends and backs.  We will also add a base molding below the panels that will create a more fixed furniture look.  Other options include columns and corbels to dress up the design.

What Decorative Door Options Are Available?

We are able to create almost any door style you may desire, shaker, traditional, modern and everything in between.

Glass doors are a common decorative element and can be ordered both with or without grids.  Any glass option is available from clear to seeded to be fitted into the door.

How Can I Upgrade My Cabinet Storage?

When upgrading your existing cabinets don't forget about the inside and their function.  One of the best upgrades to make them seem like new, is to replace the cabinet drawers with solid wood dovetail boxes and full extension, soft-close under-mount glides.

Other common areas to updated are soft-close trash pull outs, and pull out trays.  We can even convert a full sized cabinet to large, deep pots and pans drawers, as shown in the picture.
